Loads of good news from young, hot and Finnish symphonic folk metal shooting stars KIVIMETSÄN DRUIDI! After being freshly signed to Century Media, the sextet around frontlady Leeni-Maria now is about to release its highly anticipated CMR debut album "Shadowheart" in October 2008. Expect an unmistakeable sound that is heavy, drivingly fast, but due to its epic atmosphere, and melancholic, highly catchy overtones marks a stunning amalgamation of Celtic folklore and vast extreme metal influences. By utilizing lyrics in their native Finnish tongue as well as the English language, KIVIMETSÄN DRUIDI are also highly diverse when it comes to their lyrical content.

Even before signing to Century Media, KIVIMETSÄN DRUIDI celebrated a really successful debut on European stages during their tour as support of Korpiklaani in 2007, and now with a strong debut album under their belt are about to up the ante! In September and October 2008, Kivimetsän Druidi will tour their native Finland incl. an album release gig with Korpiklaani and Battlelore, followed by a European release show on the 1^st of November at Ultima Ratio Festival in Oberhausen, Germany plus a massive European tour in November / December '08 with Korpiklaani, Battlelore and Falchion.
